Sarah,
I am so glad that I got the opportunity to engage with you at the Calvary Chapel San Jose Ladies Tea on May 5th. Amazing how much time has gone by since I saw you in the late 90′s, along with your siblings in Chasing Furies. I am very blessed by your witness and testimony, which you shared with all the women Saturday. I have some old photos of seeing you in concert that I would like to share with you. I think you would be very blessed by the photos, as I even have an after concert photo of your brother and the other guys who were on stage that night playing alongside with you. Please feel free to send me a personal email at kristy dot curtin at yahoo dot com and I would be glad to send the photos to you.
Have a safe flight back home!
All for His Glory!

I heard the beginning of your song “current” on Premier Christian Radio this morning. We must have you in the UK sometime, if necessary I’ll come over there and kidnap you! (Note to the DHS – this is a joke don’t bar me from entering the US for it). I’m even more impressed that you are a fellow runner. This song I’ll be listening to on my runs from now on.

Hi John,
I am thrilled that you are loving the song “Current.” I will actually be in Cornwall for the CreationFest UK event on August 4th. Are you far from there? Hopefully you could come out to that festival instead of having to devise a way to kidnap me
Here is a link to the festival http://www.creationfest.org.uk/

Hi Sarah,
Wow. I am so excited to have found your music…your gifting tonight
By far the most inspirational christian music I have heard for a long time ..(since the Seventy Sevens).
Beautiful.
Bat for Lashes, Chungking and an edge of K.D Lang wistfulness.
But the comparisons may undermine you..so unique in your ability to fully embrace God’s creative spirit and so brave to share it.
Australians will respond to you. Love for you to get airplay on Triple J.

Thank you for the kind words! I also love the Bat For Lashes comparison
Her voice is pretty stunning.

I hope you can come to perform in Pittsburgh some day.

I am so happy that you are releasing music again. It’s been a while since the Chasing Furies around and now that you have moved on, it’s such a blessing to hear your voice. Best thing since Five Iron Frenzy decided to come back. God bless you and your family in all that you do

Sarah– Would you ever consider coming to Cleveland Ohio????
September 12th, 2011 at 8:07 am
Of course! I would just have to wait for the right opportunity to open up so I could come out there.

Cleveland’s just a jaunt from Grand Rapids – ArtPrize runs 9/21-10/9, world’s largest art prize, 3rd annual, and many believing artists, free food receptions, and concerts in the mix! Let us know if you guys make it out. artprize.org

hello sarah,
i’m from austin, tx and will be in southern cali. in a few weeks. i looked up your april 19th tour date; and saw it is taking place at a prayer week. is anybody else welcome to come just for the 19th at 7pm only? i feel bad because i will not have been fasting those days. I’ll be at a conference in Newport Beach before then. And where can i get info of door entries? I’m scheduling my flight according to your response.
thank you for being such a blessing for so many years.

Sharon, hi!
Yes of course you can come to the 1 night of the prayer week on the 19th. That prayer week is being held at my home church and many people come to all nights as well as many who can only come one night. Also, that while it is a week of prayer and fasting many people cannot do the fasting for whatever reason but they still love to come for the prayer and worship. My husband and I will be leading the worship for a couple of the nights that week including the 19th. I’m honored that you would schedule your trip so that you could come
See you in a couple of weeks…

sarah,
thanks for the quick response. i was able to get a good deal flying out of san diego. yay, this trip is just getting better and better! My sister and i sing “Where you’ll find him” alot over the phone these days. She lives across the country and the last time we were together on the Texas coast, we listened to that song out on the beach, watching the waves. magic.
i’ve never been to san diego – do you have any suggestions on must do’s. The person i’m staying with has a san diego zoo membership, so i’m doing that; but i just like to see beautiful priceless spots. or do you have a favorite eatery you recommend. my friend hasn’t been in san diego long either.
thanks again!
sharon.
oh, are you in texas right now?

sister sarah, love your music (and luna halo – any solo work for jonny?) – would love to have you two come out to western michigan. a great audience for your music awaits.
great place to start would be calvin college (e.g. caedmon’s, OTR, sufjan, sandra maccracken, etc.) – several venues.
spend a week! lots of wonderful culture when you blend up midwest/reformed/college town/arts. for example, in october at art prize – world’s largest in downtown grand rapids – topped with a most brilliantly crisp autumnal turning! http://www.artprize.org/
in any event, would love to have you and jon swing through!
in Christ,
matthew

Oh Sarah! I am so glad to find you and that you are still singing!!! I love(d) Chasing Furies back in the day, saw you at Cornerstone mid-90s and Nashville just hanging with friends. Your music has always expressed my heart to God in ways I sometimes couldn’t communicate to Him myself. I love the tenderness in your voice. I will be reading up on where you’ve been! Please come back to the South!

Hello Sarah and God’s Blessings!
I am writing to you because i am in search of a song that you might know something about. It all started with me listening to Mike Macintosh (i believe he’s your father) on KWVE and really like his intro song. I have no name of the song and i searched on youtube and wrote to several people. First i wrote to KWVE but they replied back and said they do not know, but they think you sing this song. I then wrote to Horizon ministries, and i got an email today saying that the song i am looking for is from a Worship CD called “Fill me” . However, he said that the CD has been out of print for sometime. The song that i am looking for goes something like this (i do not have the name of the song) “…and i stand up and shout….and i stand up and praise you Lord Jesus….and i stand up and sing….and i stand up and praise you Lord God…” This song is at the introduction of pastor’s Mike’s sermon on KWVE and it only lasts for about 10-15 seconds. I really like that song, but i would love to be able to find it somewhere (buy it on itunes?). I didn’t know who to ask anymore, and today i found your website and i thought to give it one more try before i really give up. I hope you can help me in my search. Thank you and i appreciate your effort.
Sincerely,
L

Hi Lavinia
That is a song called “For the Lord Has Called” and is indeed on a worship record called Fill Me. My husband has an mp3 of the song and I have given him your email address so he can forward it to you. I’m happy to know that you like the song and I hope you enjoy it now that you will have more than the 15 seconds on the shows intro

Sarah,
Where can fans buy your then sings my soul cd? I remember you singing at Horizon before I gave my life to Crist. You were the only reason that I came back week after week. Eventually, I listended to Pastor Mike and gave my life to God. Through time, I lost the CD that my husband bought for me for Valentines Day. I have looked everywhere with no luck. PLEASE tell me where I can purchase a copy!
Your biggest fan,
Joy Richards

Hi joy,
Thanks so much for sharing. Your words are a little nest of encouragement for me to crawl into. I just recently had the Hymns cd reprinted so you can either pick up a copy at Horizon or download it on ITunes.
thanks!

I just was sitting here waiting for our church service to start online (My son is too small for the daycare on Weds.) and thought to see if you had a website and I found it and under “Tour” to my surprise, you’ll be at our church this Sunday and next. Yey! Well great job on your Blog area and we were excited to hear your song on the radio the other day! God Bless you and your family.
